Miso butter crab pasta

A 15 minute pasta recipe that will make you feel you are at a restaurant!

This super easy recipe packs all the flavours thanks to the combo of butter, miso and crab.

🦀Ingredients

  • 160g wholewheat pasta (can use GF pasta option)

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 120g cherry tomatoes

  • 3 big garlic cloves

  • 1 small red chilli

  • 1 1/2 tbsp miso paste

  • 100g crab (I used 50% white meat and 50% brown meat)

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • Handful of parsley, chopped

  • Toasted breadcrumbs

🦀Method

  • Cook your pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve the pasta water

  • Heat the butter on a frying pan. Add the cherry tomatoes and gently sizzle for 5 mins until soft. Add the garlic and chilli, and cook for another 1-2 mins.

  • Then add the miso paste and dressed crab to the frying pan along with some pasta water and mix for 1 minute. Add the lemon zest, pasta and cook everything for another 2 min, adding a splash of pasta water if the sauce looks dry, then season to taste. Stir through the parsley and serve topped with your toasted breadcrumbs
