Burrata & gochujang gnocchi

Another insane burrata gnocchi recipe !

After two viral burrata gnocchi recipes I’m back with a third instalment! Inspired by the burrata version, but this time using gochujang past which adds a great spicy and umami kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • 2 large garlic cloves

  • 1 burrata

  • 1/2 tbsp gochujang

  • 50g grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 bunch of fresh basil/parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 pack of gnocchi (2 servings)

🌱Method

  • Cook the gnocchi in salted boiling water following package instructions. Drain and reserve some of the cooking water

  • In a bowl mix the gochujang and the burrata and bit of the gnocchi cooking water

  • Bring the olive oil to medium high heat in frying pan. Then add the finely mince garlic and cook for a couple of minutes until golden. Add the gnocchi, the gochujang burrata mix and a bit of the reserved cooking water. Mix well with a wooden spoon and then add the grated parmesan. Mix for for a couple of minutes at medium heat until everything comes together and the burrata melts down.

  • Serve hot on a bowl topped with some basil and some extra grated Parmesan (optional)

FAQS and Tips

  • If you cannot find burrata you can substitute with 100g mozzarella plus 60-80ml of single cream
