Halloumi gochujang pasta

A 15 minute recipe that will become one of your dinner staples!

If you haven’t tried halloumi in your pasta tour are definitely missing out! It’s a great high protein addition and adds so much flavour! I’m pairing it with gochujang paste for the ultimate spicy flavour combo 😍

🍝Ingredients

  • 220g dry spaghetti

  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • 1 halloumi block

  • 1/2 tbsp gochujang

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

  • 80ml single cream

  • 50g grated Parmesan

  • Fresh parsley chopped

🍝Method

  • Cook the pasta in boiling water until al dente in salted boiling water

  • Add the olive oil to a frying pan and bring to medium heat. Add the garlic and fry for 1 minute until golden

  • Add the gochujang and tomato pastes and fry for 1 more minute. Add the cooked pasta, pasta water, Parmesan and the single cream and mix well for a couple of mini Add the fried halloumi and mix well

  • Serve and topped with some fresh parsley

FAQS and Tips

  • If you cannot find gochujang you can substitute with 1 tsp chilli flakes or harissa paste
